A while ago I found this page:

It's a list with (Japanese) game music composers, and the titels they worked on. Sadly there's only one name associated with an MSX game: Arcus II. I think it would be nice to have an extensive list with names and titles for MSX games. Does any of you know some names and MSX titles they worked on? It would be nice info to know. It also good information to have if you're looking for current titles by those same composers (because you like their style etc.). Hopefully some of you can help me out here. |

After some browsing in the dsk/rom images I found these, however, I don't make any guarantees

I took these from KSS files (not really sure if it is ok) and game endings. Some of them are not composers, just sound creators.

Ryuichi Sakamoto is, for instance, a popular japanese musician.

Maybe, the name is used for the guy in charge of the sound effects. I'm creating a dabase at the moment. Will put a list here soon.

uhm, don't the sd-snatcher credits in that long intro say that Ikariko is the composer ?

Indeedy, I always thought he was the SD-Snatcher composer... The name Masahiro Ikariko is even displayed on some billboard in the game (the area where the Casino is located) |
