Hi!
I've had totally 80's feelings yesterday when I downloaded an emulator and several ROM-games for MSX! Very fun to play those old games again! (penguin adv. Knightmare ++)

But I remember I played a game called Pitfall. I dont remember if it was the second version, but it was not a cartridge. We sat night after night with that game.

Regards

*** [EDIT] ***

Please read rules before posting here. Requesting illegal content like ROM files is not allowed. Telling about your pleasant retro-night is just enough

I found the ROM-file now!!

Regards
Roar

*** [EDIT 2] ****

Linking to the file itself is completely forbidden. Please don't do so anymore. Thanks! And have fun with your MSX (though it's not the real thing).

The reason has been discussed many, many, many times before. It is illegal. Japanese game companies are watching our website. It gets us in trouble.

'nuff said.

Whether you're being watched or not, illegal is illegal, period.
Anybody thinking they can legally copy other people's creations without permission is seriously lacking view of reality.

yeah, but eases it's financial position it's something like the dutch soft-drugs-policy. everyone has illegal msx games. obviously! but no one admits. guyve, can you seriously say you're warez-free?? 90% of my msx games are illegal. which are games that cannot be bought anymore. or you must find them accidentally. (new games is a different thing, havent got those ilgegal)

There's still a difference between copying files and buying them from eBay or so. At least the 2nd was originally paid for legally. Even though stuff isn't available in the software shops anymore, doesn't mean it's abandonware. Maybe contact the software company, they might still have it on sale (you never know).

I find the expression it gets us in trouble too thin.
I would say it brings first of all everytime discussion of what we already know, so this shouldnot be a topic into the first place, so refuse it and send an email why to the person in question.
Second it brings everything in danger to all who work on the future of óur' system.
And that isnot only Japan, but according to many reactions and also based on years of experience

Ouups.
I actually didn't know that downloading ROM-files was illegal....!! (Yes, I am a newbie on this stuff, and maybee I should know... )

Of course I will immediately delete those I have downloaded and NEVER do it again....

With embarrassed regards
Roar B.
