| How can I run Batman or "Head over Heels" from a tape image?

I were a MSX user years ago and I would like to play these games again.
I remember sometimes it was necesary to input some codes like:
poke FFFF..
or something like that before the LOAD command.
Now I`m usig an emulator "MSX-Emulator v0.27" and can`t get any game from tape to work.
Games in cartridge go well, but when I load a game from a tape image, it starts but then stops and nothing works.
I load games using:
LOAD"CAS:",R or RUN"CAS:"
Then, the system says:
Found Batman or Found HOH and the wellcome screen apears. Beyond that point the emulator gets freezed and nothing more happens . I`ve tried other games from tape images with similar results.
Any idea?  Thanks |

Yesterday I made a lot of tries and finally HOH is running. I'm using the ROM's labelled "MSX" and it runs. The other ROMS (MSX2, MSX2Pro, MSXVideo) loaded the startup screen and freeze.
The game is quite old, but it keeps its original attractive!  |

"MSX-Emulator v0.27" is unknown to me, so can't help you with that  |

It's probably an old version of RuMSX
[EDIT] It's actually the most recent version of RuMSX .... |

The point is that on a real MSX these games probably also won't run on MSX2. See the http://faq.msxnet.org/ for some tips to get MSX1-software running on MSX2 in the misc section, top question. |
