I have been fascniated with the MSX since I discovered it online a couple years ago. Strange that it didn't take off here in America. It's so cool! I have messed with the emulators, but now I'd like to get a taste for the real thing.

Anyway, what is the best way to go about procuring an MSX system?
Where can I find one?
What should I be looking for in one?

and other random questions.

MSX was sold in the USA, all be it just one model, the Yamaha CX5M it was sold as a music computer rather than an MSX machine.

I would suggest having a look at www.ebay.com and just search for MSX, there are usually a few there, along with some software and cartriges.

Happy hunting and welcome to MSX

If you're in the USA, getting a Japanese MSX2 with diskdrive is probably the best. It has NTSC and 110V, unlike european models which are PAL and 220V.
