My wife didn't found it funny... it must be that the japanese humour sense is different than the western one.

it's funny 'coz in the eighties EVERYONE would choose a nick with the word SOFT in it. That was common practise... hell even I started out as... shadowsoft.. haha. really! took me about a year to realize that it would sound better withouth the softie part.

I think the 'soft' extension is just an excuse for a lousy first name .. like, anything sounds good with 'soft' attached to it..

I started out as Birdsoft. I liked the Eaglesoft name very much, and names like Sparrowsoft appeared too, so I thought 'Birdsoft' would rule
The only thing I did under the Birdsoft name was send in some game tips to MSX Gids I think...

You wont believe it, I ones wrote a program for the Sony plotter, ( It is the only one that i really can show ). Well, I wrote on the top of the screen a titlebar with,
CUCKOOSOFT
