Is it possible??? Connecting a PC monitor on a MSX computer?
I have a 17" Philips Monitor and it's always better than those old 14" RGB Monitor.
If Yes, where can I find some info????
Thank you in advance

Something like that is called an up-scan convertor, or a scan-doubler.
The idea is it takes the 15kHz output an MSX gives and doubles it to a 30kHz VGA output.
Also, a lot of TFT screens are capable of working with 15kHz signals, they usually have a composite or analog component video input.

What you are looking for is called an upscan or doublescan convertor. I have one myself, a DISPL, which is quite ok. If you want to have better image quality than 'quite ok', check out the XRGB, the XRGB2 and the XRGB2+ (hmm... familiar naming). Especially the latter is top-notch.
However, keep in mind that these devices all have Japanese SCART connectors, which have a different pinout than European (RGB) scarts.
If you're totally into DIY you could also have a look at these projects from the Russian group Novatec. |

Are there any commercial products that will connect the RGB out on a Japanese MSX2+ or TR directly to a VGA monitor?

There is an other way for output to a vgamonitor, if you can use your MSX beside a pc, and the pc have a tv card then you can use the video channel for input from the MSX.
btw
The schematics for the MSX Doublescan Module are not available at this moment on the homepage of Novatec
And his emailadress don't exist anymore, a mail i send to egor bounced

My experiences with such a setup is that the image quality is extremely poor Not a real option IMHO.
