There is a msx turbo 5000 from robtek sold on marktplaats.nl...
What is it ?? never heard of it.

I'm just curious what is does, if you do... help us out pls !

uh .. Pascal or something ? If I see the word 'turbo' I usually think of Pascal anyway

Turbo 5000 is a utility cartridge. With it you can:
  • put files from tape to disk
  • make screen dumps (to paper) of any screen
  • setting up higher baud rates for tape save and load
  • disk monitor
  • etc.
Back then it was quite a revolutionary cartridge. It has nothing to do with Turbo Pascal. The main program is written in Basic.

Yes it was, I remember seeing a Dutch televisionshow where the maker of the Turbo 5000 won a huge pile of software.

I used it a lot in those days, I still have it but never use it anymore.

I remeber the 'old' command to undo the effect of the 'new' command. It worked after eboots, that was great!
