No misunderstanding ! Every song of the Jarretenk disk IS great ... You know what ? It's one of the rare musicdisks that give me the same funny sensations on a real MSX (with MSX-MUSIC and MSX-AUDIO) then on the best emulator : NLMSX (the masterpiece of Frits Hilderink) .... And everytime that I test a new emulator, the Jarretenk disk is on my list ! |

.... and I'm very happy to know you a little better ... thanks to the MRC forum !
I really like music ... and MSX Music (especially stereo MBM) is part of my preferences. I also like progressive rock, melodic metal, hardcore, new wave, gothic and good pop. Some only Dutch examples : Kayak, The Nits, The Gathering, Within Temptation, Clan Of Xymox ....
So, it's always a pleasure to know better a musician |

Hey, some really familiar names here. Didn't we met Meits? since I hung out at Martin/Janny's place a lot (thanx for the coffee dudes) etc. I met with Ronald Zijlstra a hundred years ago at the rising of Genic (there's even a more funnier story behind that which I'll reveal another time)
Klaas de Wind lived nearby (yup, Leeuwarden) and was a strange but good fella. rip.

Might have met you briefly, guess I talked to you when I bought stuff at your stand on various fairs. I think you were once at M&J when I was there... Were you the guy with long hairs?
I even remember a day that me and another Near Darky got your address from M&J and visited you, but you weren't home... Mommio told us to go to "de popbunker", which we didn't...
Some birdnamestreet you lived, was that you?

Economy has been bad y'know, recession, high euro-rate. Your 'sponsoring' was overrated, so I terminated the B-NICE agreement...sorry

| Yez, Meits, do you still have that moonsound version of the metal gear theme. It was the best moonsound song I have ever heard. It was also one of the last songs I heard from you cause everybody split up... sadly enough...

Dude, I just sampled it (using nlMSX ) and made an mp3 out of it...

Hope to get the possibility to listen to it like it should sound once again in the near future though...
