You see that white vertical button in the center above the keyboard? That's the RESET button.
You see that switch on the left side of the RESET button? Switch it to the RIGHT so it will stop booting MSX-VIEW.
As for your IDE CF interface question: www.msx.ch/sunformsx |

I'v checkt it with my CX5M II , and he recognize the ide interface with HD, so the compact flash will work to. but you need a diskdrive to install/flash the drivers into the flashrom of the ide interface, or someone else will do it for you. |

The Yamaha CX5M and CX5M II are MSX 1 computers with intern music rom and a music module, this computer are sold in music stores.
The CX5M II can be easely converted to a MSX 2 |

CX5M does not have a memory mapper, it will not work correctly with Sunrise IDE.
CX5M/II has a 128K memory mapper, it should work correctly with Sunrise IDE.

Thanks for that .. ill have to have words with one of the music shops near me
I did get this MSX from a mmm JUNK Music shop
I did see that the IDE Flash Interface did have 2/2+/R or some thing like that on it
what seems to suggest that wasnt for any MSX1

Please use english here. If you rather use dutch, post in the dutch forum.
Also, it's very unclear what you're replying to.
