Zozo, wat ooit begonnen is als extreem populair spel op onze MSX wordt dus nu uiteindelijk verfilmd.
New Line Cinema heeft de rechten om samen met Konami er een filmpje van te maken!!!!
Zit je straks in de bios, weet 90 % niet eens de roots van de film.

try to look for "new line cinema + metal gear" in a search engine.. you'll get some results

Allright, it wasn't a joke.. I have seen an interview with Hideo Kojima who told us that there might be coming a movie and if he could choose which actor would play snake it would be Hugh Jackman or Russel Crowe!!!

Hideo Kojima has always had movie director aspirations. In the interview on the MGS2 dvd Kojima explains how he tries to let the player have a movie-like experience.
When Kojima does the direction of the movie as well as he did the Metal Gear series, it will be worth watching for sure!

while the game was already lightly based on that other movie with snake pliskin.. (kurt russel) hehe.

I tried to watch that.... surely MG can't be based too much on that, as MG rules and that movie...well....didn't.

Hehe, that would be fun indeed, including all the Bollywood-style music & songs.
It would at least not be so 13-in-a-dozen Rambo style as a average Hollywood movie.
