The production of the PS2 mice are still going on at the moment, i think.
So, we can use this mouse for a number of years.
I'm interest in a PS2 converter, but the website is in japanese, and since my knowledge of japanese is < than nothing, i'm looking for a englisch description.
Maybe or dear friend J P Grobler will and can help with a readable description?
Than we need someone who can program the PIC.

Excelent idea... the mayor problems about the mouse , is in the MSX world that thing are not standard and exist a lot of diferent technical for connect a mouse to MSX... by example by VDP, by RS232, by Joystics ports... and that is the diferent hardware conections.... i think exist diferents models of comunication for each device.... then a lot of incompatible things
On MNBIOS that is not a problem, each thing has his driver.... but is hardly program too much drivers....
The more inteligent is adopt one way only with future... Ex: USB, but that is hardly, PS2 can be but, how many time the PC factorys made PS2 mouses?, you remember when you can buy optical SERIAL mouses?, now that is imposible...
Always thing as that need the participation of all comunity... for made some more constructive standard, easy to buy easy to make.
I thing Sunrise has a lot of experience in that....
And i think the better goal of MRC is thing like that....!!!! after the meeting people goal ofcourse.

On a japanese site I saw an ATARI thingy that converted USB mice to normal joystick port.
