That was what I wanted to find out. It may be a reasonable price but more than 100 euro is a lot of money for a SCSI-interface with memory.

My opinion is that the prices of ESE MegaSCSIs are totally behind the times:

Those prices have suffered little changes (any?) for years (20000 yens for the 256Kb SRAM version and 30000 yens for the 512Kb SRAM version).

They can't compete with Sunrise CompactFlash IDE interface.

The same goes for their other products.

Well, they do have some amazing never-seen before features, with a stunning FDE emulator as a nice bonus

But my choise would be an IDE-CF indeed

The SRAM rules, it's as simple as that...

MegaSCSI and IDE-CF are not to be compared. Where the IDE-CF only runs CF cards, MegaSCSI works with a plethora of storage devices.

I do agree. But most people only use it as HDD interface.
