I was just wondering... Does anyone know if the irregular versions of older Konami games (like Yie Ar Kung Fu and Twinbee produced by Casio) are of any interest to somebody in Europe? Are they rare? Or are they, on the contrary, not wanted at all?

Well, they are pretty rare in Europe, but I don't think they're really searched for by European collectors.
I for example would buy one if I'd find it cheap, but I wouldn't do much trouble to get it, as I already have the konami versions.

A real Konami collector collects everything 'Konami', so there would be an interest, sure...
The question is, how many Konami collectors are in europe and how many of them have the money to take them off your hands right now...

Just put 'em on e-bay and see what happens... Maybe put a certain price-tag on it to make sure you get at least something for it...

I get the impression Rieks hasn't bought them yet, and is just checking out demand.

Exactly. I was thinking of taking some games to the Tilburg fair, but I'd rather not take games in which nobody is interested.

I'm sure there will be interest, but I think that if you're hoping for a high sale price then you'll come back from a cold shower
Greetings.

No, the point is, that those games aren't cheap here in Japan either. Taking them with me is one thing, but losing money to it is another.

Ah, hehe, you're in Japan again
Well, to my experience those Casio published versions go for about the same amount as the original konami versions, sometimes a little less.
For example Konami Mopi Ranger sells here for 10 to 25 euro complete.
A casio version of this game will probably not go that high. I'd say 15 to 20 euro max if it's complete.
Unless you stumble on a Konami collector that wants all konami and related
