Haha... Just a minute ago I was playing with MoonBlaster 1.4 for the very first time since Tweety's Choice got released (wasn't that 1997?)
Wanna hear it?

It took me like one hour. The feeling with MoonBlaster seemed like neber been gone... I love it
Let me hear what you think of it please... |

dude, this is happy shit!! absolutely not what i expected. seems to me the song will loop forever. i like the flute (or is it a clarinet?) though.
i think your skills need to be polished a little bit
oh, and please, quit using mb1.4. mbwave is better. got no opl4? use an emulator with lots of sram |

It's not for productionpurposes, just for the nostalgic element.

{had to do some modding in the posts above}
lets get this topic back on the track:
Nice going, Meits! It's really cool to hear some new MB 1.4 tunes again. So euhm... is there a new Meits musicdisk coming up, or is there any other way we can enjoy this (and possible other tunes) on our real MSXes soon? (downloads database? hint.. hint... )
Listening to the song makes me want to boot MB1.4 again! Which is a good thing, as I had promised someone to create a MB1.4 song quite a while ago |

If there's enough (how do you say) animo... I'd like to make some more sounds and polish them up so they sound better than this one...
Been walking around with some idea of making something with a whole gang of MSXers, something like a one issue of DISK with texts contributed by everybody who wants to type something and with musics and graphics of people who are capable of making something nice... And then supply it here so everybody can breath the nostalgic diskmagazine atmosphere once again...

Hehe, I almost forgot how your tunes sounded. You're just like John - doing nothing with MSX for quite some time and then suddenly coming up with a new MB1.4 song . John never converted his songs to MP3, though, so it was a little bit more difficult to hear them - my FMPAC broke
EDIT - Your song is very much stuck in my head now, after hearing it only once. John once told me that's a characteristic of a good song |
