I got a little Idea:

I always loved to read and make diskmagazines. But since I've been out of the scene for too long, there's nothing much for me to inform you about. Since this site is here, it's quite irelevant to start a real serious diskmagazine. But the atmosphere a diskmagazine used to breath was fantastic: reading, but also creating...
Creating a diskmagazine and all its editorial things is what I miss at least... Reading was always great as well...

Now read my idea:
It seems that the sources of DISK are still amongst the Near Dark leftovers. I just need loads of people that wanna contribute one or two textfiles of things that keep them busy or things they wanna say. If I got something like 50 or 60 textfiles of relevant articles, I wanna turn it into a diskmagazine which I will dump on this site.

What I need is textfiles and graphics... Maybe even an introdemo (which would be awesome ofcourse). The whole thing is going to be MSX2, 128K (V)RAM and MSX Music/Audio... Things I can do is Music and assembling the whole thing... Just have to find them sources...
Please let me know what you can contribute and tell me your ideas and ket's see what we can do together...

I want to say this to all people that make a DISK-MAGAZINE....

First i allways are frustrated because my real-MSX don't allow DSK image of 720K disks anyway... just copy the files and divided in 2 disks is allways frustrated...
... run the openMSX is not the same thing ...

I love read PDF magazines.... is quickly and comfortable

You can carry out interviews to the developers and to edit reports... it would be always more interesting to read texts from the point of view of the neuter journalism.... that I have not seen in the msx community... and sure... in that way you can allow get your goal more fast.

I still have some texts that were supposed to be published on the *cough* FD *cough*. Some reviews, some gametips and some programming stuff. Everything's really outdated of course, but hey, it's better than nothing. If you tell me which format the texts should be put in (linelengths, pagelengths & stuff) I'll even convert the texts for ya.

the textfiles are pure ascii, just a few little rules for the lay-out since the routine doesn't scroll:

- width 59 columns (no returns at the end of the line). Use all 59 columns and fill with extra spaces if necessary.
- hight 16 lines

it would be nice if a paragraph fits a page including a underlined paragrapgheader.

Reviews have a frontpage with info concerning the system requirements and preverably a conclusion at the end including a score of 1 to 10

An example of the review frontpage (don't worry about the lines, I fix them for you):

An example of the lay-out (note the left and right tight outlining and the paragraph titles at the top of each screen):

The conclusion at the end:

And not to mention, the aim is to make the magazine dutch, since it always was that way, unless loads of foreign people say they'd like it english instead...

Is the aim also to make equally as much grammar and spelling mistakes?

Anyway, great idea!
