In a while, I should have internet at home again.
Meits, I'm still willing to contribute some stuff, but I can't say I have much inspiration.
What's there to say? Time will tell...

@demonseed: I think Meits still likes your contribution but it will not be released on DISK 8 but on DISK interactive on www.neardark.nl

There is also a topic in which Meits explains why DISK 8 will not see the light...

But maybe Meits react on this topic today....

actually, I already started to adapt the engine for a little different purpose... I'll probably finish the selector version anyway just for fun.

Seriously Meits, I would really *LOVE* to see a new DISK ish. Don't set a release date for it, just keep gathering articles and news things until you've got enough. Add BiFi's 60Hz selector to it and off ye go!

I'd really like to see those 'Schijtgrafieken' and 'Opa vertelt' parts again

If you'd release a new diskmagazine ish (hell, if you'd release *ANYTHING*), I'd be buying it.

*ANYTHING* -> as in, 'anything MSX-related'
Let's get this straight: no-one wants poop

True, but that really isn't a good reason to just abandon it. Look at Bombaman... It took them over 5 years to finish it (unlike FutureDisk which just gone up in smoke, mainly due to some people). You wanted to start things up again, people offered and obligated themselves to do something for it, and now you pull the plug on it even though you initially said to wait as long as needed to fill it...

I know it's not really a comparison, but how would people think if FutureDisk arose from its ashes to complete their mission in releasing the last 7 or 8 issues to their subscribers and just vanish from the face of the planet again even before that first issue was even released? It would make them even more unreliable then they already were when it first happened (no offense to the people who did want to continue with the last issues).

I already got GuyveR800 impressed when I showed him a preview... And believe me, it's not easy to impress him.

Point is, there's just no contribution in text. It seems like everybody likes to have something new, but when it comes to contribution, they all say "have to go now..." I've been scouting quite intensively and came up with just some txt from Arjan Bakker and Edwin vd Heide. All are programming courses. So actually all corners are still open.

I'm really not gonna fill this Disk on my complete own, and as it looks up to now (from the moment the initiative was born til now) there's been not a lottextual input. Ofcourse, I'd love to get stuff released, but I'm realistic as well.

If people start contributing, the spark might light the flame again. And trust me, I'd be more than just very happy if stuff got released. Stalled is not definitively ended, but lack of interest at the moment, for me and all the potential authors.

@ [D-tail]: There *is* in fact a new graphic: The 'schijtrolletjesgrafiek 2004', but don't tell anyone
