I didn't know the sample addresses are hardcoded in the replayer already.

Only in the replayer of DISK that is, check it out:

SMPADR: .dw $00,$03FF,$0400,$07FF,$0800,$0BFF,$0C00,$0FFF
.dw $1000,$13FF,$1400,$17FF,$1800,$1BFF,$1C00,$1FFF
.dw $00,$07FF,$0800,$0FFF,$1000,$17FF,$1800,$1FFF
.dw $00,$0FFF,$1000,$1FFF

I just take them from MoonBlaster and retype them in the sources of the magazine before asembling it. This way the already loaded kit of the intro gets restored without reloading it.

If you need a moonblaster player you can use my adapted driver

www.msxsoft.nl/sources/dmus.asm

This one is autosensing in 50/60Hz & Turbo-R and there is no specific order in which the
samplekit and music should be loaded.

It uses 32Kb memory.

It only works on DOS2.xx (memory mapper) if someone can make it compatible with Basic/Dos x.xx please do and give a link to it

Nice, I'll adapt the already DOS1 compatible version not using the mapper routines. If Meits only makes 50Hz tunes I'll add that little piece of sync code as well and for the MSX turbo R addition, it isn't that much extra anyway. But thanks for offering.

I always make 50Hz tunes...
The DISK replayer, however, is not DOS2 compatible...
Anyone who feels the urge to addapt it?

Well..

I wrote a map routine in the past (which is equal to map.com, but then as map.bin). Don't know where it is.. But then again, I will try to find it.

Starting @ $C000

I know that one. I disassembled it to add in, for example, the PA2HD boot system and it was also added in the last few Blaffer NT replayers. I hope you don't mind...

What's going to be the theme of this issue? Will there be a theme? What about Underwater world!? So you might in a price!
Looking forward to a new issue of a diskmag!! If there'll be more issues, maybe I can help out with coding/music. (too busy with TVSP and other things a.t.m.)

Haven't thought of a theme actually... DISK didn't always have a theme either, so actually it's not necessary... It depends on how the graphics look like I guess...
Haven't heard Opa's progression til now. He said he had started graphsaurus again, though, dunno what he did...

Meits.. Need input..

Do you have any idea what the status is of disk8? And how many disk space is left?
though.. I have a little logistic problem at the moment (and I explained it to you in msn), so if it is finished.. Don't wait for me.. You can publish it anyways.

I'm quite curious on the status of Disk 8. Actually, I can't wait to see a new diskmagazine!

I am curious when the people who declared cooperation will hand in some data. Can't fill the thing on my own.

Come on ya guys... Don't be lazy...
