Paul Verhoeven, a Dutch director of films, just revealed in an interview on Ned 1 (Dutch television), he'll go to Japan after his next
movie (Zwartbroek). This, in order to direct a movie about a Japanese video game from the late 80's.
Mr. Verhoeven has been asked by the developers of this game to make this movie, because they loved his films
Robocop and Total recall. The most interesting part for us, MSX-users, is that it'll be a movie with elements from Bladerunner and Invasion of the Bodysnatchers!
The script is about an unknown life form that appears after a big biological disaster in Russia. Soon after this, all kinds of people
suddenly dissappear! The film will be about a man fighting against this life form ((SD-)Snatcher anyone!?)
Unfortunately the interview was very short. I was too late to record it, but it'll be rerunned next friday morning.
Now I wonder, who will play the leading role!!  |

Well, cool.. but the coolest thing would be his "english" audio commentary on a possible DVD ..
Ever heard the audio commentary of Basic Instinct , anyone? (anyone who buys DVD's anyway? ) |

But never heard Verhoevens english. But to respond to the question you submit wolf... Yeah! got Akira, T3, Macross, Armagedon, Lord of the Rings, Robotech, Star Wars and lots more on DVD. And I bought them

Too bad I think this is all a joke since it's april 1st. And not even such a bad one. You might even consider it being true.
I would really like to see a movie of (SD-)Snatcher. |

Sorry, it was an april foolsday joke indeed..
Maybe it was easy to see through, next year I'll try to come up with a better joke 
but then again, a movie with a script from (SD-)Snatcher would be awesome eh!
