Hi. I'm not new to emulation (used to be really into Amiga emulation for one) but I'm new to MSX stuff. I've got OpenMSX and a few other MSX emulators, but I have no idea where to start to emulate a harddisk for it. I have one MSX game i really want to play but the first instruction of play is 'Boot from your harddisk MSX-DOS2'. I havent got a clue how to do this.

Sorry about being so new to this but can anyone help me out? Thanks

Well, I've got to the point where using an OpenMSX frontend called 'Catapult' I can create a harddisk (which I've done). No idea how to load from it, though. Infact, I'm having difficulty loading OpenMSX without it crashing or saying 'no cartridge'. A lot of the error messages are 'Error reading ROM: roms/<name here>' when I try using different machines and extensions.

I hope I'm not blowing it now, but: did you read the manual of openMSX?
