Hmmm! I DO use tapes and their evolution, CDs, with audio tracks to be loaded in the real MSX using the cassette interface. It works fine and allows you to play the greatest non-megaROM games in any MSX system with 64 KB of RAM.

About speed, WAVeR v.3, that now is in the last beta stage of development, allows any MSX system to load at 12500 bauds (or even more). That makes 1,5 KB/second. A 32 KB ROM loads in an average time of 24 seconds. Is that a good speed for you?

Now it is faster to load ANY MSX non-megaROM game than booting your Windoze for PC!

For example, I have prepared a miniCD (8 cm) with 120 ROMs converted to audio.

Sounds like a nice piece of development indeed! Maybe it could be combined using Jon De Schrijders IDE audio reader? That could lead to an incredible increase of speed! 150kB/s on a MSX2!

Hihi, anything faster than tape is good for me

Was this enough convincing yet, mr. wildBHR? (or should I say, mildBHR? ) ^^;

Hey I haven't embarrassed myself enough to call me 'mildBHR' again since Bussum 2k? (the one with the 'Music Compo'.

I can tell I'm 23+, I'm staring to forget important stuff!

..could be Bussum 2k2.. Or I've set myself on fire again

See folks, how this 'poor student' gets a massive kick out of obtaining original software? There are more people like this - and I do NOT mean collectors! The kind of idiot who spends 2000+ US$ on a Neo-Geo (yay!) game because it's collectible. I'm talking about people who want to PLAY those games!
