I never had either problems with 2.46 or 2.7. The only thing that I encoutered was that 2.7 was not Turbo R compatible (the 2.46 version was.. But could have been modified).

No, I have 2.46...

I meant as an image file or something...

I've only ever heard of the 3.0beta, but I have no idea why it never reached final, and what's stopping it from doing so.

I'll stick to 2.46, since no one seems to complain about it

Too bad I have SCSI controller, but no SCSI devices!

Ideally I want an internal SCSI ZIP drive. 100 or 250MB should be more then enough

Is there a CDROM driver for MK Public Domain / B.E.R.T. controllers?

Never change a winning team, I ought to say

For me, 250 is close to getting 'enough'. Actually I've used ~400MB of my total 4.3GB HDD...

AFAIK, there's only one for MegaSCSI and compatible (MSXCDEX) and one for the Sunrise ATA-IDE (IDECDEX). Maybe some MK or BERT fans who're still around have written their own CD-ROM routines... I don't know that, that is...

Well, the ZIP drive is not as fast as hard drives, but is fast enough for MSX (i.e. can sustain 300KByte/S easily). The good thing is that it's nearly silent, and the disks are interchangeble

No, but Hans Oranje had an offer (I suppose it still stands) on giving a slotexpander to the person who adapts MSXCDEX for BERT.

Sweet! If this is a case, I'm in. Well, if I'm good for it anyway...

Who else owns B.E.R.T., MK Public Domain or LPE SCSI? I will need testers
