Yes, I use PRO-Tracker to make music with my MSX, I've found it some years ago in the net and now as I have FM PAC, it's for me the best FM Music editor. Also, in this article there was a little interview with me... Thanks!

The interview was like that:

"But the oldest and more reciclated computer of the party belong to Salvador Perugorría, stutent of Socilogy in the Public University of Navarra. It was an MSX 2, a computer made in Japan in the Eighties which was very successful in Europe. With this computer this young man can do "many things that you can do with a modern computer or PC, and If I would want, it's possible to connect it to the net", he said. "I bought it second hand in a shop, where it was very dirty and unused... Now it has many new things, like a Hard Disk, a CD-ROM Player or a Sound Card. I've taken the TV from my bedroom and I've put there a computer monitor filter. And now it's here", said Perugorría."

The translation is not very good, but I think you will understand it

Yours,
tfh

I used it for some years.. back then I liked it quite much.. but eventually I switched-over to MB as the author of PT didn't adress some suggestions I made. I liked PT when doing high-speed stuff.. because patterns were 64 steps high, it was more easy to work with high-speeds than MB or FST. One thing I did in PT was using a high speed and place a lot of snaredrums after eachother to fake a long 'isshhhhh'-snaredrum.

Somehow I was quite productive and fast back then with PT .. I never released anything tho.. and nothing was really 'done' anyway.. mostly sketches. But I remember myself coming up with game-ideas all the time. It wasn't unusual to have an idea in the morning, then in the afternoon spend some time in AGE to draw stuff, and in the evening having 2 or 3 tunes in PT done. Ofcourse, none of those ideas ever saw daylight, and when I looked at them some months ago, they never will Ahhhhhhh... those were the days..

I will release next month a music disk (cd audio) all made by Pro Tracker and FM PAC... it sounds very, very good! And it's a very professional program, because the preset editor is amazing.

The music has an average of 3-4 KB... but are complete songs... I've made an intro, an outro and and an interval of 1-2 minutes each. Next I've made 5 songs (14:36 minutes all of them) and I'll made another five songs... now I have 18:11 minutes of music made...

Yours,

PD: I release every year cd audio disks made with Impulse Tracker of MS-DOS, but this year also I will release a cd audio disk made with FM PAC and MSX.... I've converted the 8 songs I have to MP3...

Yes, the TVE Show was aired YESTERDAY (Saturday) in TVE 2 at 19:30 GMT+1 in a program called INFORME NAVARRA... I've recorded it and now I must rip the video to my PC Hard Disk... I will send you the video (the part where I've appeared with my MSX). Also I must rip the video because I've recorded it in LP mode and when you pause it becames black & white...

I've published in my web the PHOTOS I've taken of the party. Here you will see my MSX POWER!!!
