D-Tail: I couldn't help but think the same alike .

PC-Active this month has a pretty big 4-page article on retro computers, mainly C64 and MSX. No mention of Bazix or the One Chip MSX unfortunately (didn't they send a press release to the MCCM sister magazine?), but nice article and a pretty picture of an FS-A1ST turboR computer both in the article and in the index.

p.s. of all emulators, the author picked no$msx -_-;;. Bad compatibility, old, and shareware... sigh .

Scans of the PC-Active article are 'just in', thanks to Robert Wilting. Of course Bazix sent a pressrelease to PC-Active. I think PC-Active is one of the magazines that decided to wait 'until WOOMB is there' before reporting about it. I'll add the PC Active scans to the list of nominees l8r today.

Ok... Nevertheless, some one chip MSX pictures would have been nice (though I dunno whether that could have met their deadline). Anyways, does anyone feel like writing them a letter and bringing them up to speed with the latest developments (Bazix, One Chip MSX, openMSX/BlueMSX) ? ^_^

By the way, the text says 'MSX revives being one chip'.

Best wel een slecht artikel voor een blad dat MSX-wortels heeft.

I presume that they mention NO$MSX, because it's like the old MCCM emulator : MSX4PC with a built-in debugger .... (and many bugs)

I presume also that Wammes doesn't have checked this page

If you think this article is bad. Well it's just PC-ACTIVE standard these days.
PC-ACTIVE is getting worse and worse these days.
The last year was quite bad.
It seems that background research is hardly done these days ! As this article also shows.

Yup.. Just like mentioning that the MSX2 had better sound capabilities, compared to MSX1. d'uh! Guess that that person never touched an actual MSX.

I heard Jori Seidel seeing Alex Peetom on the local tv-channel AT5 in Amsterdam promoting the local computerclub. I can confirm that and trying to get a capture of it. Maybe it's good enough for the MSX in the Media challenge. One of the NMS 8250's was clearly running Usas.

:/ I hope someone did make a capture (or has it on tape to make one). It seems all reruns for that episode are done.
