The best treat is however the article that starts on page 34. The first one who tells me what's so cool about that article wins a free beer at Bussum!

Cool! There actually was an article about the Game Reader in a non-Japanese magazine? I'd like to read that one!

-EDIT-
It's clickable, so I read it. Nice to see such an article was published in a Dutch magazine as well!

So, what do you guys think of the nominations so far? Had you expected that even now, MSX could appear this often in the media? Or do you think MSX is doing a lousy job at getting attention? Which entries do you (dis)like and why? What are you going to do to get MSX in the media?

So many questions...

It's doing a lousy job

Most stuff is based on coincidence... just like some vic20 user would be delighted to spot some 'vic20' mentioning in some random magazine. Most of the magazines refer to the very-old msx standard/ideas etc. How many magazines show screenshots of gfx9000 stuff, or *at least* some advanced/modern msx2 stuff .. When do Moonsound mp3's pop-up on magazine bonus-CD's .. ? I've the overal feeling that if you see a screenshot of Athletic Land in some PC mag that you should be happy already while that's nonsense ofcourse.. As if the world only knows the MSX1, not the MSX2, MSX2+, turboR ... etc.

imho, I spent 2 cents for this txt

PS. I think anno 2004, the MSX2(+/tR/gfx9k) should be a pure game-system.. not really a developmentsystem.. but that's ofcourse imh-xdev-o . Don't rant me on this one

I think anno 2004 msx is as much a game-system as it is a development system. Come on wolf, you're trying to be way too professional here! Developing things on MSX is great fun and playing games on MSX is just as cool. They both have certain universal aspects. It's quite charming!

If developing-on-msx-ppl get proper results, you won't hear me at all However, even Konami used cross-development .. There are clear advantages ya know

All the time, wolf_, all the time

Ever since you (or someone else ) talked about BlitzBasic. Hey, why not start a topic in the social talk section about 'How great is cross-development?'

/me agrees with Wolf in some way...
Right now, most of the entries are about SPOTTING MSX in the media, not about GETTING MSX in the media. I would like to see the latter a bit more
