Yeah!!! The first example only works well on 50Hz, on my 8245... The second does nothing but beating up my CRT

Maybe VDP stunting may be hazardous to your CRT indeed... Unlike Unknown Reality proclaims

Nevermind, I don't ask to fix anything, I am already happy with the fact that the effect is reproduceable.

It gives you the bit of extra inspiration you need Good thing it can be emulated

Hmm I once had a full list off all hidden stages. If I am right then most stages have 2 from these so called hidden stage. I once send a very complete solve for this game to the MCCM. Problem is that all 3 versions got lost and that it never was published. Still I might have most handwritten comments. Which would be good enough to remake it.

Sounds interesting - at least I will learn how to overcome the boss on the 3rd stage.
Number of levels and how the game ends is interesting as well.

Some info about MrGhost II is appreciated too.

by the by.. the wave fx is a setadjust one (r#18 indeed) it's 16 pixels wide at max.
It's not that hard to come up with such thinx.. just check MSX demo scene to discover FX like these (have you seen the PD13 intro ever?? check the upper logo for some simular fx). . or some other wave-scrolls I could mention.

The wave is indeed timed on the Line Interrupt (LNI) and is half a screen high (aprox)

There is no Mr ghost II. There is however a special demo version which has special made levels for the demo.

About a solve:

Also the game is not that hard untill you are at level 5 (I think it was) with the big skeletons in the first fields. After you defeated them the level gets more easy.

Hmm now I won't make the mistake I normally do !(Makeing a promise about a deadline which I offcourse screw up) But let me say I will look into the comments and might fix something as soon as I have time. Which is way to limited
