You don't need a prog for this, only a command.
If you give the command CLOAD than will be the first prog on tape loaded, than you must give RUN.
And if you know the prog name than you can type CLOAD"FILENAME" after loading give a RUN ( we'r talking about basicfiles)
If you'r loading a binary then you must type BLOAD"CAS:FILENAME",R

Hmm, I visited the site but my tapes still have not been converted to BAS files. Am I doing something wrong?

I've already used TAPE2HDD.COM van NOCASH. He can read my RAW-file, but he doesn't make an BAS or ASC or else of it. Does anyone have the same problems?

Basicly I used LOAD"CAS:" en SAVE"A:file.bas" to convert Tapes to diskfiles
but if I may add: this will not work with binaries (like BLOAD"CAS:" files), because you need to know what the start, end and execute address is!

If you use the instructions that I mention before, and your basicprogram is loaded, than if you give a LIST, you must see the prog on the screen, if not than there is something wrong.
If you see the prog on your screen, than you can save it on disk by typing SAVE"A:FILENAME.BAS"

But what if you don't have a diskette station linked to your MSX and want to use your PC to make a .BAS from a wave file or else?

Didn't I tell you this before? Put the tape in a walkman or whatever and hook it up to your soundcard. Record the part of the tape that has data on it and use one of the many TAPE2CAS programs around to convert it to a CAS file. Then use an emulator that supports CAS files (or WAV's directly) to load the file from the tape image you just made. Once you loaded it you can save it to disk or to a disk image and then extract it.

hey T: why not do this on a MSX directly? Load the basic program from tape and save it to disk

Because he asked how he could do it on an emulator... (on PC means emu, right?)

ah, right, I missed that!
But, if he doesn't have a diskdrive with his MSX, what's the use of this conversion?
