I've seen the game in action on a presentation in Bussum 2002 if I'm correct ?
It's technically a pretty damn good game for as far as I was paying attention, but not my style of game
They've got a deal with some company to publish the game, and I guess that's why the screenshots had to disappear ?
Anyway, I could be talking about a totally different game, I can't confirm what I'm stating here

so basicly.. visiting the place, doesn't mean that the visitors may do what they please...
|
If this is so, it's the same for a chat last saturday.
I have read the reactions here, I realize and proof now that the most people are hypocrite. I have reach my goal right know. @snout, you're wrong, the building is public, you can take pictures etc. If the project was secret, they had forbidden to take pictures. So I think it's all theatrical.

but that the thing of the chat, were pre-marked with the first newspost that the logs will to be released...!!!
on the other hand, the project was declared SECRET.. so, can't be compared.
Ah, sorry was not pre-marked, but were commented before if i remember well, on the other hand you are comparing a case where was PRE-MARKED that is SECRET, and other case where wasn't marked anything...

uh.. if there's an announcement inside a public building that some event or whatever you may call it, is not to be photographed then so be it. In that case, it's private stuff, meant for visitors of that fair only.
If you announce a public chatnight, without announcing that it's not a public chatnight then it's a public chatnight. (yeah, that's one hell of a cryptic sentence ainit? ) |

Regardless whether or not the building was public (it wasn't, but it doesn't matter), all people that attended the presentation agreed to keep things silent/secret. So there's nothing theatrical except that the claims you make are INCORRECT.
So I don't know who told you these things, but you were told wrong.
Having said that, the 'event' took place almost 1 year ago, and in the meantime a lot more has become known about this project, and there is FAR less secrecy about it. You can read about this project in more than a few forum threads, and there are screenshots online in the Photo shoots.
You are making a big fuss about NOTHING, and nobody is being hypocrite at all.

@wolf; you contradict yourself.
I'am not so bad to place the pictures of the project by the why. That was because I want proof something and that is done right now. No, i'm not like bifi or some other people to place things without asking.
Case closed.

You really need to try to not look at the world through {mod}someone-other than-you-his{/mod} glasses...
{Moderated} You got the expression wrong, it's -pink- glasses (or is that used for another state of mind?) Please don't pull people into discussions like this. Anyone would just have to reply when you use their nick like that.{/Mod}

@IC and GuyveR800: you're right about the future. I never said that i'm not open for new things and corrections. I said that about the logcase the case is closed. And the scene for me is closed if everything stays the same.
But if I see that people wanna change things (I wanna change also and learn from my faults), then we have a compromis.
This is also for MRC.

Better looking at the world through glasses than thru a {beep} hole (you know, the bottom one, where most of your remarks come from). You simply cant resist to spit shit around.
{mod}Understanding the anger, but next please just leave it at a moderator alert. We will respond to that as you've experienced in the past already. Taking things in your own hand will only make things worse. Thanks for the mod-alert though!!{/mod} |

Screenshot: as both member of the Guru Logic team and organization of the fair, I can confirm that at the time it was indeed still a secret project for which we specifically asked people not to publish anything about it on the web before starting the presentation. This amongst others because of our still fairly fragile contacts at the time.
We have never been asked to lift that restriction (if we were, we would probably have) so I am kind of disappointed that photos from that demonstration still found their way to the internet, especially when the person in question clearly knows about the restrictions AND is apparantly not aware that the secrecy we needed back then has pretty much been lifted since MSX Magazine published about Guru Logic (meaning that this was intentionally posted against our will, just to spite us).
Perhaps next time we should specifically ask people who do not agree to uphold this secrecy to leave the room. That's a shame, I would think I can trust the MSX users attending my fair, and be able to be relaxed about doing such a presentation, but I guess that's not the case. Perhaps I should specifically ask whether someone calling himself Odyssey is in the audience to ensure you are not present, because you apparantly can't be trusted with such a trivial thing.
Anyways, it's a shame. I thought everything was cool now. Seems it is not... Why did you pretend it was then, on IRC, I wonder.
Argon: we didn't show it on Bussum 2002, but we did on Tilburg 2003...
~Grauw
p.s. I think it's weird that you were so persistently claiming the MRC did a huge wrong because it should have asked the (public) chat night's visitors for permission to put that log on their site, while not bothering to ask us whether you can put photos of our (non-public) demonstration on the internet. That's just hypocrite.
