Hi,

I am collecting the Dragon slayer series from Falcom, i know there are 6 dragonslayers for MSX.
DS 1 is not from Falcom but who made the game then?

This is wat i know:

Dragonslayer 1 made by ???
Xanadu -DS2-
Dragonslayer junior -DS3-
Drasley family -DS4-
Sorcerian -DS5-
Legend of heroes -DS6-

Is this correct if not please let me know.

Dragonslayer 1 was made by.... (drumroll) Square! It was licensed by Falcom, though.

(Final Fantasy 0 ? )

Well, Ronnie (rklok) has a lot of Japanese stuff lately... you can find it mostly on E-Bay and sometimes on fairs....

He made it possible for me to collect Ys 1,2 & 3 and Dragon Slayer 6 in very mint condition...

Buying Dragon Slayer 2, 4, 5 & 6 should not be a problem thou..

I haven't seen the other 2 on E-bay but ofcourse, it is possible...

And how lucky you are: www.rklok.nl

He has on his non-ebay section some falcom games to sell....

Dragon Slayer 3 is also known as Romancia. I can't imagine you never saw that one on e-bay.

Oke, so the list i wrote is correct and DS1 is from Square licensed by Falcom.
DS3 is Romancia Druid - dragonslayer junior.

Question: DS5 - Sorcerian is from Takeru and licensed by falcom ?
or are there 2 versions.

This is what I used to think too, but in fact Dragon Slayer 3 is a game AFAIK not released on MSX: Xanadu Scenario 2.

That means that Romancia - DS Jr. is just that, it has no number.

To complete the list:
DS 7 - Lord Monarch
DS 8 - Legend of Xanadu

Sorcerian is from Falcom, distributed by Takeru.

And about Dragon Slayer 1, Falcom released this game on Gameboy under their own brand, so apparently they bought the game and name from Square after Square released the first version.
