I think King's Valley 1 is quite easy. King's Valley 2 has more of the puzzle element, which makes it much more difficult. King's Valley 1 is more like an arcade game.
Now we're talking about Konami games anyway, has anyone ever beat Usas? Great game as well, but I got never as far as the 2nd level of Mohenjo Daro :\...
[lol]
and wot about Kung Fu II?

I just had to finish games, it was nice to have a list of 'full-played' games...
So I beat Usas in the time I had the originals... you played the game till the end, placed an ad in MSX-Gids, swapped the game for another Konami and played the next one till the end...

I've done the Usas thing. In fact I've finished almost all konami games I could get my hands on (it was a 'sport' to play and finish every game)..
except for Qbert and one or two other games (the oldies for example like "Athletic Land", "Comic Bakery" etc... )
Usas wasn't THAT hard. MOG took me some time (talkin' bout back in the days were we did not have internet to check for walkthroughs when we get stucked) to get all items and all bosses killed. Hinotori was a piece of cake etc.
KVII indeed takes up more time cuz of the puzzle element and the 100(!) stages it bares. But the game ain't that hard. I remember some codes like "festival" etc...
good luck with it.
ps. any one ever finished GOONIES, back then one of my fave games (yup, finished it)

I think I should make a list with the games finished... At least now a list of Konami games I managed to finish.
Antarctic Adventure, Yie Ar Kung Fu (got to stage 91, that's the moment I had to quit for dinner), King's Valley 1, The Goonies, Maze of Galious, F1-Spirit, King's Valley 2, Solid Snake, Quarth, SD-Snatcher.
Konami titles I had to cheat a bit to get to the ending: Pippols, Knightmare, Nemesis, Vampire Killer, Hinotori, Nemesis 2, Salamander, Contra, Nemesis 3, Space Manbow.

It is not possible to finish H.E.R.O. It doesn't have end.
