About a year ago I bought CX5M with SFG-05 synth block, YK-10 keyboard, tho Yamaha printers, two FD-03 external floppy drives, a spare SFG-01 unit and some Yamaha music programs on cartridges, all this boxed in original boxes and in ideal condition for 35 US$ + 40 US$ for shipping

Today I see this: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3758601177

CX5M + FD-03 + YK-10 + some programs for 212 US$ + 50 US$ shipping!!!

I got the MSX2+ computer for a third of this money from RKLOK

Don't you think it's strange to see people loosing money in bidding rage?

People loose money most of the time when bidding. Van Gogh only sold one painting when alive. Few years back one sold at an auction for $22 million. Is someones painting really worth 22 million? I don't think so.

wow, seems I'm a lucky bastard this time :-)

As a buyer I guess you just need to have patient, especially if you're building a larger collection and not hunting for some specific few items.

I sold my original Konami ROM's for a lot of money on ebay, especially the rare ones!

Interesting how I got more money for an open copy of Hypersports 3, than I did for a brand new sealed copy of the same.

I still have about 50 loose ROMs Konami & ASCII ones to sell on ebay when I get around to it. Maybe early next year might be a good time, who knows? It is all good fun

The vallue of money changes with the amount you have of it
For you (and most of us) $ 22 million is a very huge amount of money. Even $ 100.000 is a lot for most of us. But for the real rich people, US$ 100.000 is just spending money, like for you $ 100,- is. And for those people, if they like art $ 22 million can actually be worth it, as $ 22 milllion is not as much for them as it is for you

Last year, I bought quite some WDCC parts on eBay and spent quite some money on that. Some people would call me crazy because of it, but I just really wanted to have some of them, even some that were pretty hard to get. And eBay can then be an easy place to find stuff
