BTW, I think teh CPC-300K is not the keyboad, but also the complete computer
Also I wonder what CPG-100 and CPG-200 is...
There's some text about it on page 4.
And what about the Super Box? UEB-256D.... (page 9)
There is LOADS of info on this site! |

It is possible
But it seems that Daewoo gave every single component a specific ID, so I'd rather assume that the code stands for the keyboard only.
It is in fact not just a keyboard, it is the actual MSX console, you can use it without all the other components, on e.g. a TV.
CPC -> consoles
CMC -> monitors
CPJ -> joysticks
... -> ...
I've been checking the info on the Daewoo CPC-61 (MSX2 compatible), and it seems this one also had internal SCC.

Too bad this guy doesn't seem to own the Daewoo SuperBoy (monitor/MSX combination), I'd love to find some more info on that one too...

Hehe, well there's more...
This guy actually wants to keep his Kobo a secret (well, something like that), he wants to make a PAYING website for his collection. I think that one won't be a big success, LOL
But while browsing and translating the Korean texts, I can clearly see stolen information from my Zemmix website !!! So he can't possibly complain that I'm using his pics, ROFL.
Of course, if people start keeping secrets like that, we will never be able to know all MSX machinery.
And of course Korea has never been a country that's very open for Westerners

The CPG-100 is the Korean (Daewoo) version of the PC-Engine, so it's not really MSX related

Super Box UEB-256D seems to be a 4MB RAM expansion.
Not 100% sure though...

How are you. Yoo ni it is an expansion RAM pack SUPER BOX (UEB-256D) which it sells
from the cone.
Yoo who made the lower part radio joystick ni with the cone it is a
same place.
There is not a space where 2 mega expansion RAM pack and the RAM pack
structure state Bin slot will enter does not become the expansion
above 2 mega.
It expanded with what 4 mega to be interesting, til lek su the box it
is the fellow and the bedspread where is not a day when it will use
so.
When it sees occasionally and to be interesting the expansion RAM pack
compared to the compatibility holds some the impression which falls.
Fact it will be like that and li it is not but the bedspread.

That's about all the info I can find.
I really have no idea as to the amount of memory for all these Daewoo consoles, but I think you can use the Japanese MSX specifications.
CPC-50/51 -> MSX1
CPC-61 -> MSX2
CPG-120 -> MSX2+
Kobo -> MSX2
SuperBoy -> MSX? (plays Salamander, don't know by heart if Salamander is MSX1 or 2 )

Well known MSX2 systems by DAEWOO is CPC300 (Commercial name is IQ2000) and CPC400 (Commercial name is X2, without supreimpose function) and CPC400S (X2, with superimpose). X2 was equipped 128k memories and stereo PSG and those are superior to IQ2000.
KOBO is another MSX2 system released later compared with above ones and it's sold mainly for kids. Or, it's target market was infant to kids range(upto 10 I guess). Therefore it's appearance is rather unique (to make it familiar with kids) but all the system configurations are the same as other MSX2 systems.
I have no chance to see the Superboy and Zemmix turbo to my pity, so I cannot tell you exact info. about them. But I guess Superboy is just a NTSC type televisoin with Zemmix V in it. As for Zemmix turbo, I also want to find it but there have been no chance to do it until now.

And as for SCC, there are no SCC internal chips in Zemmix Super V or Zemmix Turbo. I have Zemmix Super V and Korean Konami games which have no SCC chips in them. Of course, I cannot hear any SCC sound when I play with Zemmix Super V and Konami SCC game, for example Salamander cause there are no SCC chips in both of them.
Zemmix Turbo equipped Z80B and half turbo mode is possible by pushing the turbo button. Zemmix Super V is just MSX2 compatible. Zemmix Shuttle is just a PC-Engine Shuttle licensed by NEC.

Are you 100% sure there's no SCC in the Turbo ?
I think the turbo button on the CPG-120 is the same as MSX2+, it is used for autofire, not for more speed.
