I'm planning to make a special MSX Arcade joystick but would there enough MSX user's who wanna have a Real MSX Arcade joystick?
In great lines its the same setup as the salamander arcade joystick, but it will be 2 MSX Arcade Controllers instead of one big game controller like the salamander arcade.
It will Feature:
1 High quality 8 Way joystick (in six diverent colors black, green, red, blue, yellow, purple) you can choose
2 High quality Push Buttons (in diverent colors black, green, red, blue,,orange, yellow, purple, white or Iluminating red or Blue) you can choose this too..
A Smash proof cassing (some people like abusse their game controllers if they lose )
And ofcourse MSX art as i call it you can choose your own image And its protected with a layer of plexi glass 2,5mm easy to clean

Do you already have an estimate of the cost of one unit? |

@NYYRIKKI: You mean a universal MSX->JAMMA connector so you can fit your MSX into a JAMMA cabinet? That would be a cool thing! IIRC Matra made a MSX cabinet for their Sex Bomb Bunny game.

I think, that can't be done, as there are so many different video connectors in MSX machines, but generally it is just connecting joystic and video wires to empty board mounted edge connector and replacing cabinet name tag. I'm not surpriced, if that it is already done by someone.
Modifying MSX games to calculate Euro coins is the bigger challenge.
Ofcource this is not universal solution anyway as I know only few Finnish MSX users, who actually have JAMMA cabinet. Don't know, how common this is in other countrys...

its possible to build a msx in an arcade cabinet but you need to hack some hardware to make it work
but most msx games only use 2 buttons 4 directions
so its not so hard at all to build it in a jamma cabinet :0
and fof the monitor... just replace it with a television screen that suports RGB
but if you play solid snake you need more keys
so you need to hack some keys from the keyboard

about the price i think around 50 euro's per unit
it's all done by me....
Painting, constructing,making art work
The salamander arcademodel is around 150 euro's
its bigger and has a special circuit to hook it to an pc and has more part's
i will draw a design this weekend a 3d rendered model
the dimensions of the msx arcade will be HxWxD 10cm x 25cm x 15cm
the dimensions of the salamander arcade are HxWxD 15cm x 80cm x 25cm

You really don't need to do that... Just connect R,G,B,video sync and video gnd. If you have SCART output in your MSX, these signals should not be hard to find.
Here is specs of JAMMA connector:

@POISONIC: What joysticks do you use? I hope the ones with minimum travel (the real MSX joysticks such as Competition Pro have that) and not those used in units like X-Arcade. I like my X-Arcade, but I think the sticks used in that unit are not the best way to play MSX games with if you are used to MSX sticks.
Also, I think 50 Euros is a nice price for a handmade, specialized MSX arcade stick.

well i can choose out of a lot of diverent joysticks
even those like the arcade turbo.
With my own joysticks on the salamander arcade play fine but MSX Joysticks from the past play diverent.
but why i chose for those arcade sticks was...... i tought wat if something breaks down like micro switches the switches they use are easy to get when someting breaks down

i use this joystick
