Correct, BiFi!

Explanation for others:
9 bits per row, 3 characters per row = 3 bits per character. The game contains 8 opponents, 3 bits can have 8 possibilities (000=Yen-Pei, 001=Lan-Fang, 010=Po-Chin, etc.) Starting row is 000001010, next=row>>1|(((row&1)^1)<<8) (shift right one bit, leftmost bit becomes inverse of previous rightmost bit)

An easy one
Where in the game can you find this screen and what's not correct (apart from the graphics)?

not correct: it seems to have the boss-moster background graphic in it, while this is the castle, according to the graphics. But I forgot the location (I'm too lazy to check the IRC logs... )

IIRC: It's the "save" location, wasn't it 2 screens above the opening screen. Use the Halow to transport.
What's not right, besides the gfx, you ask? hmm, dunno

ro, sorry, but it's definately not the location with the save shrine.

I checked the Map and could not find it, maybe that's the answer (what wrong: it doesn't exist)

BiFi seems to be the master of asking questions that bring the MSX quiz to a halt. Time for an answer from BiFi and a new question from.... Latok! you lucky bastard! ^_^

I don't know the answer to 'hm?'
If Latok's too busy Karting, I'd say manuel should ask the next one, he answered half of the BiFiquestion.
