Then msd's code sucks... this is the value stepping through it on the REAL MSX.

executing the code without stepping through it gives the same result... on both Z80 and R800...

I think msd should post the values of A, B and C for each step in the code. Maybe he made a wh00ps wrong somewhere.

I *guess* msd used an emulator for his code.. perhaps it's related to that? ( * thinks BCD-stuff is spooky)

ohwell, perhaps one of msd's famous supply o' typos .. let's await his comments.

btw, according to my irc log, the answer should've been:
[21:51] <msd> LD a,45
[21:51] <msd> ADD	A,A
[21:51] <msd> DAA
[21:51] <msd> RRA
[21:51] <msd> LD B,A
[21:51] <msd> DAA
[21:51] <msd> NEG
[21:51] <msd> LD C,A
[21:51] <msd> ADD A,A
[21:51] <msd> LD B,A
[21:51] <msd> LD A,C
[21:51] <msd> DAA
[21:51] <msd> DAA
[21:51] <msd> ADD A,A
[21:51] <msd> ADD A,C
[21:51] <msd> LD C,A
[21:52] <msd> bc=9a32

I think A0F0 can be called 'ok' (AuroraMSX confirmed using openMSX).

I think I'll fart in his car, this sunday..

BiFi's next.

I could imagine that the 2nd ADD A,A sould actually be ADD A,B, other wise that first LD B,A is just obfuscation and has no effect.
In any case - the lesson learned today is: stay away from the DAA

No BiFi? IN that case it's time for an easy question:

Name two available VHDL upgrades for the One Chip MSX.

would that work instantly on the OCM, without further adaptations? I doubt it...

Since sifting through ancient parts of MRC seems all the rage these days (hi sn00t! ), this is what I can come up with:

One Chip MSX LED mods

and

HRA OCM-PLD improvements
