Does anyone have Aleste Special for sale?
Was it released as a "normal" game or maybe as a "disc-station game" (like Super Cooks)?
I have never seen this game before.
Does anyone have pictures of it?
If you want to sell it please let me know!
You can contact me at fhjhuizinga@tiscali.nl .

As far as I know Aleste Special is a game created by 'COMPILE' as a stand alone version.

But indeed on 'Disc Station #6' there was a DEMO of the game...

Thanks guys !
I have checked my collection for it and Aleste Special or Gaiden is indeed on Disc Station Special 4.
Was there never a stand-alone version released?
I remember the game had only 6 levels or so, so it might have been a bit small for a normal release?

I'd say it's difficult and long enough for a full game tho

The game is called Aleste Gaiden and is indeed present on Compile DiscStation SPECIAL 4. That's how the game got its "Special" name. And btw, It only got 5 levels. If I was to sell my original DS SP4, what would you pay for it? I warn you... I am not too eager to sell it...

You consider selling Aleste Gaiden?

Were you overrun by a car or something?

You kidding? It was 5 levels and doable in an hour or something. Only level 5 was a *bit* difficult, the rest was easy.

Well, I certainly took more than an hour... I remember this game had me playing for weeks! Once you get the hang of it tho, you can indeed complete it in less than an hour. I wouldn't say it was easy tho, and I do indeed feel that, with a nice box and manual wrapped around it, it makes a perfectly nice stand-alone game...

Now i feel tempted to fire up the emulator and give it another try...

I did finish Aleste 2 once without shooting (except for the bosses ofcourse doh!)
