All/many bosses in Aleste 2 do have a time-limit, right? So basically it should be possible to finish the entire game without shooting at all?

Hmm never tried that...just played a bit of Aleste Gaiden btw, first time since many years and it took me exactly 10 minutes to get to level 3. Then I had game over. If I have more time I'll see how much time you really needed.

Should be hard, but worth a try.
Sounds like a good method to spice it up, since I think Aleste Special is way too easy.

I played Aleste Gaiden last weekend and it took to me exactly 16 minutes to finish it.... and I was killed 5 times during the play, so this time can be beaten relatively easy...

Aleste has good difficulty, and it's very very playable. Aleste 2, sincerelly, for me, it's impossible.

I find Aleste 2 the easiest of them all . Funny how such an opinion can differ.
