Which games do you want to see translated?

At this moment I would like to see a translation of Golvellius 1 & 2, Golvelius 1 shouldn't be that hard since there is not much text involved in the whole games. But part 2 could be somewhat harder.... I am seriously thinking about making a translation (even if I don't know where to start)

So which games do you want to see translated?

In the dutch distribution of Golvellius 1 a translation sheet was included; I included that in my map. Also, if I'm not mistaking, Rikusu is translating both Golvellius 1 and 2 from scratch.

I would like to see Psy-O-Blade translated.

Yup, Golvellius 1 and 2 are translated, but they are not available YET. Take a look at the press kit at www.bazix.nl .

But ehm Vampier, if you consider making such a translation by yourself, am I right in presuming you understand Japanese?

Yes, Psy-O-Blade would be a nice game to be translated.

Rikusu if you have a map with the translation it should be somewhat easier

Especially for Vampier :

For maps of Golvellius 1 and 2 :

http://www.geocities.com/msxgamer/

For map of Golvellius 1 with translations :

http://www.rpgclassics.com/shrines/sms/golvellius/msxwalk.shtml

It's also very interesting to compare with SMS version of Golvellius :

http://www.rpgclassics.com/shrines/sms/golvellius/

http://www.rpgclassics.com/shrines/sms/golvellius/MSX.shtml

See also this site to find in PDF format the user manual of the SMS version :

http://www.smspower.org/golvellius/

I think that with all these infos, everyone can 'make' his own translation of Golvellius 1. Of course, it's more difficult for Golvellius 2, as the game is more extended.

@Vampier: I read faster Japanese than I correct the Japlish that is supplied with the European version of Golvellius and I like authentic translations

@mars2000you: the SMS version of Golvellius is totally different from the MSX version.

Thanks Marsman I've already ended the games several times (before the internet excisted) but thanks anyway.

Rikisu u're right... I played Dragons Slayer 4 in Kanji... and wrote down the passwords in Kanji... that's about as much as I could stand before I had a trauma (I also played SD-Snatcher in Japanese)
