pity the gamecharacter can't reply with:

a) get your english sorted out
b) are you trying to make a move on me?
c) have you been doing drugs again lately?

"no razzon" or something in mopi ranger (what the hell was that all about anyway)

Maybe it´s not too hard to guess..

As those baddies in Mopiranger are called Razzons, and that "NO BIG RAZZON" always comes at the start of the each level, I have always understood that "NO BIG RAZZON" is just a good play on words, and simply means NO BIG DEAL!! Or do YOU all use strictly perfect literary language all the time?!

Thought I haven´t interviewed konamis so I cannot be 100% sure, but it seems like that!

We even have David H aka Solid Snake doing some bad Engrish here.

Goofed would be better replaced bij 'I was tricked'

Did you ever goof?

Perhaps they were trying to find a decent translation of "I fucked up"

Hmm.. Maybe you should not be so harsh on other peoples English!

I GOOFED is actually perfectly good English

It means "I screwed up" (But with a bit of "I`m stupid" in it..)

Yeah, our English sucks as well ^_^. I think it's safe to say "I goofed" is 'odd' English, though. Probably the last thing you'd expect an action hero such as Solid Snake to say in this situation

Goofy got his name because he is just that: Goofy

I don`t think this English is so odd, and when I searched Google now it showed 61 700 hits on "I goofed"
