WoW..
Some in here should build a shrine to worship Nishi It seems he is like a God to some in here: Just trust what he says without a doubt.
Ah well, as long as they are happy with it |

I don’t see why you seem to feel such an animosity towards the man.
He was basically the big man (or at the least one of the big men) behind MSX. Is it weird that people put some weight in what he says? Would he not know more details than anyone else about how things went in Japan at the time, and about the ‘birth’ of MSX? Why do you discard all that? It is very interesting information!

If what he says makes sense (as I tried to explain), and given the person he is/was... Why not? Why would he lie? What makes you so distrustful of people?
I’m sorry, but I really don’t understand your attitude. You seem determined to prove the man is a farce, or something.

Ehm.. Well, you've got that right (more or less... )
Sorry, but the man has been making a fool of himself for some time now. But some people see the world a bit too much through pink-msx-nishi-revival glasses and are unable to see some things clearly.
Anyway, I guess Mr Nishi will prove me wrong when within the next few months we will see the world-wide release of the new Machines with Software eXchangability and MSX takes over the IT world/home computer market by storm |

Of course this discussion is totally unrelated to whether the MSX revival as Nishi explained his plans is realistic and will actually take off in that way. Be it pessimism or pink glasses in that respect, it doesn’t make his ‘stories’ about the early years of MSX less true.
