Hello all!
I've been testing some music editors but I've only found MuSICA that is not a tracker... Anyone of you know if there are some more?
thanks!

I think SME wasn't a tracker either... Not sure though, since I've never actually seen it. I *think* it could handle 1 MSX-MUSIC, 2 MSX-AUDIO's, 4 SCC's and the PSG! It's been a while since I've seen any of those hip Xelasoft promo's featuring Andries music though, so I could be wrong...

Studio FM (or Studio SM if you really want to use it) by MSX Engine software also is not a tracker.

Toob (Sonic_aka_T) is correct that SME isn't a tracker. However, Alex added a tracker module 1993 to make the program more accessible for 'tracker' music programmers. Unfortunately, I can't recall anybody using this program.

I've tried to use SME3 back in '93 or so, but I just couldn't get used to it
The tracker module was too slow to be of any use.

I think, that MGSDRV (*.MGS), KINROU5 (*.BGR), MPK (*.MPK) and OPLLDriver (*.OPX) songs are all compiled, non-tracker formats. These are quite typical formats in Japan, but I have no much information about them...

Is there anyone, who is familiar with these formats?

The music-program launched in 1986/87 orso that came with the music-module(can't remember the name anymore) is not a tracker! and you can use fm and samples in it. I remember some songs like lambada an the final countdown were on the disk.
