Hi!

I've got a collection of defective Pioneer PX-7. Apparently, their only problem is that VDP has to be replaced (that is what the former owner told me, and he was a diehard hardware freak).

Good news: they are for free.
Bad news: they are in England and I'm not posting them anywhere.

Therefore, if you can arrange you own transportation you can take them. There are at least 6 units, full boxed and with operating keyboards. The computers are working but no image out of them (it is a video-related problem, if you do something like COLOR ,6 you see the blue change to red, but the image is not tunned).

Again: do not ask me the post them to your address because I won't. Make you own arrangements and just let me know when you will come to pick them up. Every boxed computer is about 6 KG.

I'm leaving next week and I cannot take the computers with me. If no one takes them, they will go straight to the bin.

Hi pitpan, I lost your phone number. I would be interested in at least one of the units. Can you email me? I have no car, so it will be a case of using transport such as a train.

My email is david_haslett"AT"hotmail"DOT"com

This morning I have "transferred" the remaining Pioneer PX7 lot to djh1697: a grand total of 8 computers plus some goodies! It's been a pleasure to meet you, David. Thanks for the coffee!

If you've got a spare keyboard I'd be interested (assuming postage to Australia is sane). I have had an (apparently) working PX-7 for years, but I've never had a keyboard for it, so I haven't been able to actually use it! Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Scotty.

Beam me up, Scotty!

Couldn't resist the temptation to do such a bad joke!

djh1697 has got the spare keyboards. Try to contact him.
