o.O not a lot of software? Have you not been paying attention to the MSX news? In MSXdev'04 alone 16 new MSX games were produced. In one single year. And in the same year, lots and lots of other games, demos, development tools and utilities were released as well. Remember the first announcement of Bombaman? At the time we were happy there was actually one MSX game in development that was likely to be released somewhere in the future.
And even though there isn't a lot of GFX9000 software available yet, I think the amount of software available for it has at least doubled in the last few years (ghe, I'm always optimistic, ain't I? ) and the GFX9000 library of MSD offers a huge potential for the future.
I really wonder where you base your negativity on, as the only sad news I've seen concerning MSX lately was the decision of MSX-NBNO to discontinue their activities. |
