some people have problems letting go of the SHIFT-key for a while

and keeping the CAPS-lock led in the OFF-state

not a lot of software.... that more important then hardware.
llok ad the gfx9k coowl hardware but olmost no software.

o.O not a lot of software? Have you not been paying attention to the MSX news? In MSXdev'04 alone 16 new MSX games were produced. In one single year. And in the same year, lots and lots of other games, demos, development tools and utilities were released as well. Remember the first announcement of Bombaman? At the time we were happy there was actually one MSX game in development that was likely to be released somewhere in the future.

And even though there isn't a lot of GFX9000 software available yet, I think the amount of software available for it has at least doubled in the last few years (ghe, I'm always optimistic, ain't I? ) and the GFX9000 library of MSD offers a huge potential for the future.

I really wonder where you base your negativity on, as the only sad news I've seen concerning MSX lately was the decision of MSX-NBNO to discontinue their activities.

God, zett here in Spain we got 3 anual fair meetings and a lot of active people that developes both hard and soft for MSX!. C'mon, you know that MSX will never die!. MSX 4EVER!
