Hello Everybody,

A long time ago, I used to read Forum MSX Magazine, that was a belgian MSX Magazine. It was a very good magazine.

I would like to get it, did someone have PDF or scan of it ? Or is it possible to get them from the author ?

Thanks for your help.

I might have a few issues collecting dust somewhere in my attic If I can find it, I'll scan them and send you a copy.

Hi Maggoo, thank you for your response.

Did you manage to find it ?

I did search for them. Sadly I can't find them anymore, sorry
Found some other old MSX related mags tho (will scan the covers for Gen-MSX when I get some time), like the French MSX magazine 1 and some other small publications, but not Forum MSX.

I remember Forum MSX Magazine had a web site online sometime ago with the email address of one of their original editor (Alexandre Rajszajt). Might be worth trying to contact him.

- if someone wants me to post in English, I will, but given the magazine was written in French, that Fabrice seems to be French, and that Maggoo is (or was?) Belgian as me... I'll continue now on in French.

Alexandre Rajszajt aka MetalGear aka MetalGearLiquid

The translation:
'The Forum MSX Magazine website is no longer accessible through Multimania (ex-Mygale and since then absorbed by Lycos) nor through my old ISP (ping.be). However an archived copy is still available (I hope it will stay there for long) at the following address:
metalgear.port5.com/forummsx/ - seeing the little interest it generated by the french MSX community, I stopped the project long time ago et a lot of projects I was working on stayed in boxes.
I must still have a few original copies of the issues but I need to to check shipping costs if someone is interested...

Phil, it looks like some French/Belgian MSX fans don't know that the golden MSX age is over. It is indeed more realistic to put online scans of the Forum MSX Magazine than to try to sell the last copies !

But of course, Alexandre can decide otherwise if he's still in his past dreams. There's an MSX revival, but the key to the success of this amateur revival is to make the difference between old amateur products (that should be public domain) and new amateur products (for which the creator can ask for some contribution of the fans).

I'll discuss about this with the other people that were in the Forum MSX magazine team, however if scans or any other electronic form for the magazine are to be available online, they'll probably be on Forum MSX Magazine's web site. French speaking MSX fan site may link to Forum MSX Magazine site if they wish to.
