Does anyone have experiences with a tv box?
see: www.aver.com/products/tvtuner_AVerTV_box5.shtml#3 for an example.
I would like to connect my msx to my vga monitor with this box.

I'm curious about the quality of the picture you will get...

I recall Snout using a device orginally ment for playstation (orso). He used to have a generic overscan adapter, but this one gives a clearer image iirc. Anyway, I think you should ask him which adapter he's using now, it seems to be a good one.

I have a DISPL upscan convertor, which is not in production anymore. It gets the job done, but not more than that. A much better choice would be getting an XRGB (the follow-up of the DISPL), XRGB2 or (the best at the moment) XRGB2+. Especially the latter has got really nice image quality. Just search for those names on google and you'll find them for sure.

About €250,- is a lot of money for a XRGB2, if you have to buy it only to connect your MSX on a vga monitor, than I'll say, choise for the OCMSX.

Yep. if you need a new vga connector go for the OCMSX. You get the rest for free

XRGB ... XRGB2 ... XRGB2+

Hm. I recognize a pattern here. I reckon the next model will be the XRGB turboR
