I don't .

I do not see a new msx but a useless product.
What part makes it better than a real msx???

The fact that it's a new product, software upgradable and that it doesn't break easily ;-)

any you say you can't afford an opl4?? tadaaa

Hint: still waiting for someone to sell it to me second-hand ;-)

Ah well, you know the one-time, limited offer deal, which no-one can resist. This more or less is the case with the Moonsound, but you know... this is... different ^_^

The moonsound will come... eventually ^_^

r u sure that ascii counter does not take into account bazix orders?
If they add them on the 20th august, there could be a little boost on the total number.

O_O

OCM IS hardware
OCM IS new
OCM IS NEW HARDWARE!

[edit]
About the looks being 'not MSX-like', no-one knows for sure what ASCII Hardware Solutions will decide about the casing. Maybe they'll give it a genuine PX7-look, for example. Everybody happy ^_^

that's not exactly right. It's new hardware on which, by default, the classic MSX computer circuitry is implemented. If you do not want to look beyond that, then that's your choice, but you could try and investigate the potential of the FPGA approach . You don't consider your MSX to be only capable of running BASIC, right?

the fpga is new yes and it makes a lot of possibilities.but the msxone is not a new msx its a msx 1 or 2 whit bult in extra. I hoped that this one chip would be a new msx like a msx3 .
and that it is not.
or that it was a msx 1 or 2 but whit extendid basic or extra stuff.

I ordered one, too!

Zett: With the OCM, you can modify your MSX system in a way you like. You can learn VHDL and something about reconfigurable hardware. That's the future! I'm glad that OCM isn't MSX3 yet! MSX3 must be a ''quantum leap'', must be really good and thrilling. And it should be made as a ''joint venture'' between the MSX community and MSX Association, not just by the latter. Lots of people would like to contribute ideas, skills, etc., I think. Imagine, MSX3 would be the first computer system made in that way, as far as I know. It takes time to go this way, so let's be patient.

By the way, why isn't there a counter for Bazix orders?

and i think thats not a good idea.
in a few years evry body got tere own msx onw disign and all diffrent then it's more a pc and then tere will bee needed a virtual maschine.

this idea is olso used on diffrent open source soft ware.
the same problem there. everybody makes there own version.

It's nice that there is new msx harware but i hoped that the make it a lot use fuller.
Is there any thing nown what case will be put on the msxone?
if not i think thats a verry bad managment.
