I recently saw a game on CD for the Turbo R.
How is the CD drive handled? Does it require a driver (like MS-Dos)?

I do not know that game but any MSX 2and later machine can read a CD when a cdrom drive is attached to a hard disk interface like a SCSI or IDE with a cdrom driver . The IDE interface made by Sunrise is a good example.
It cannot be an audio cd with tape cassette recordings if it is for a turboR. But that is a nice way to store programs for MSX computers without a disk interface like most MSX-1 machines. |

So far I know -- 2. Dungeons & Dragons, and the Euro Collection (or what was it called again... the one you should connect to your tape connector ) |

It does. Wouldn't want to use it to load data though... |
