Hey, I am looking for the following games:
Ys: Ancient Ys Vanished Omen
YsII: Ancient Ys Vanished The Final Chapter
YsIII: Wanderers from Ys
Golvellius
The MSX2 Golvellius remake sometimes called "Golvellius 2".
I want to buy any of these games, preferably complete -- and in good condition. This is especially important regarding the Ys games. The only payment method I can use is PayPal, but I'm sure most (if not all) of you are using that.
You decide the price.
Thanks in advance,
Seldane
EDIT: Oh, I'm also interested in the following games:
Asteka II: Taiyou no shinden (Templo del sol / Temple of the sun)
Dragon Slayer VI: The Legend of Heroes (Eiyuu densetsu)
Dragon Slayer IV: Draslefamily

Try eBay !
Note that Golvellius 2 is not a remake of Golvellius, it's a more extended game on 3 disks.
The remake of Golvellius was made by Sega for the Sega Master System.

Golvellius "2" is a kind of remake. I am very aware of the Sega Master System remake. One of my dearest possesions.
I couldn't find any of these on Ebay. At least -- not now. And I want the Ys games as soon as possible.
Edit: Just a litte information:
Quote:
| There was also a remake for the MSX2 (incorrectly called Golvellius 2 on some websites) that revamps the graphics to SMS level and completely recreates the MSX game's layout from scratch. There are other additions too, including some towns and (gasp!) the ability to walk diagonally. The Sega Master System of Golvellius actually borrows the most from this game - although the exploration stages are entirely different, the dungeons and bosses are very similar.

I did not write this, but it's definitely true. I have played all three Golvellius games. |

Hi,
I could find them out on Japan.
I´m getting items since 1997. I used to recieved a shipment of japanese related material each month (ussualy two months).
I need to know how much are you wailing to spend in each game.
If you need anything don´t hesitate to ask.

Is that so? Hmm, I'm not sure. What do you think is a resonable price? Like I told you -- I'm mostly interested in the Ys games.
However, since you can find them in Japan, could you possibly look for other Ys games? I'm particulary interested in the following:
YsI for PC-8801, PC-9801, X1, FM-77/7 and MSX.
YsII for PC-8801, PC-9801, X1, FM-77AV and MSX.
YsIII for PC-8801, PC-9801 and MSX.
Well, that's what I'm looking for at the moment. I won't be able to buy 'em all at once, but if you can find any of these, I'd be very interested in buying them.

YS I, II & III show by on eBay from time to time. Just watch and relax ^_^
They use to be available for about € 15,-, really doable. I don't know a jack about PC-88/98 stuff though. Once you're on eBay, look for items from user 'rklok', or find some of his posts, mainly in the trading forum. Good luck!

Well I being searching and Ys MSX games in Japan are about 5000 or 6000 yens (it would be about 40 or 50 euros !!!
I don´t mind the shipping charges because It would be very cheap (I buy lot of thing there and then the shipping for each item is verycheap, perhaps about 300 or 500 yens)
I don´t know eBay prices, but since D-tail told you 15 euros I honestly think you should find there.
About the other system would be harder to find , because I don´t know too much about them but I will try

Seldane, this is what you're looking for. Unfortunately, the auction's ended, but it's a clear price indication. You just have to be lucky, so no-one else outbids you, as happened with the YS II over here. In any case, € 15,- is a fair price for all of 'em (that is, MSX-saga only, as said, I don't know a jack about prices for YS for other systems). Anyhow, good luck |

That Ys 2 package seems to contain something I have never seen before. Possibly that is what caused the price to reach such a high amount.

Thanks everybody. I contacted Rklok and I'm going to buy YsII and YsIII for MSX2 from him. I'm still looking for both Golvellius games as well as YsI. Let me know if you have any for sale! |

Before you buy Ys III ask Rklok if it is complete!??!?! I have Ys 3 with a booklet, a Ys mousepad, a cardholder and 5 or 6 anime cards you can put in the cardholder!! Sometimes Ys 3 comes with no cardholder and cards!!!
And since you are an extreme die-hard Ys fan you should have the complete Ys 3 package...
You understand that I have all the Ys games for MSX... In extreme good shape... proud on it, I had to mention it ofcourse...

It contains all that, it's identical to the X68000 version (same ads, manual and cards -- there are 10 cards in the X68000 version!). HOWEVER -- the mousepad is missing! But I'm desperate. I might just buy it anyway! Also, the paper holder is missing, but I suppose it's not that important. He he. |
