Some years ago on a fair in Tilburg, I bought something (don't quite remember what it was) on (I think) HNOSTAR's stand and got a fantastic, awesome-looking plastic bag.
Does anyone know if that vector-drawing of the TurboR on it is available somewhere? I have the rest of the logos in EPS-format and I'm trying to make a wallpaper that looks like the bag.
If not, I'll have to learn how to use Illustrator, I think. |

Do you own a flatbed scanner? |

Heh, well I should add that my bag was destroyed. I used it EVERY DAY because it looked so awesomely fantastic. Carrying my schoolbooks in the thing wasn't a very wise thing to do, though, as the bag so thoroughly demonstrated by bursting open and dropping my books on the floor one day. |

I don't think that logo was a vector logo. I think is a bitmap, enlarged from the manual or technical manual. See also Hans Otten's page for the technical manual. It's there if I'm not mistaken. To bad that partical page is low res so my bitmap to vector tracer makes a mess of it.
I'm busy with drawing a TurboR GT in vectors from scratch. Now and then I draw a new button. Because of all the lighting etc. this is a huge task. Will take some time before I'm finished. It will replace the current hardware icon when done.

BTW: that technical manual is 120 mb on Hans's page. |

Thanks, Sander! I thought whoever made the bag vector-traced a productshot, so I went searching for photos. I have *heaps* of productshots now, but none of them are shot at the right angle.
The drawing in the Technical Manual is the original image used on the bag. It's been modified here and there, though. I think I'll vector-trace it for the wallpaper so it'll scale well. I hope Illustrator isn't too hard to learn.
Thanks again for pointing me to the Technical Manual!
PS: Evulopah, If you ever recover that big stack of bags that MeitsNearDark is talking about, I'll gladly buy a bag from you. Not to use, but to frame and keep. |

The logo that was used on this bag was a vector.
I've spoken with the guy that made picture on that fair (Wasn't he spanish). Anyway, back then I asked if he could sent me the vector via mail and he would, yet untill now.. no vector in my email....
