Well, it's Valis 2...so it's japanese.
But i only have japanese games...original too
It didn't work with HD disks but the DD disks did the trick.

And i coverd the holes with clear tape on the HD disks...should i use ducktape or black tape?

clear tape is no good - that is your problem - drives use a beam of light to sense if it is a DD or HD disk.

formatting on MSX is best, btw.

If you need DD disks: I have plenty

finally, i'm getting games to work on HD disks aswell...with black tape over the hole.
I had to try 3 before it succeeded, guess i should get some new HD disks.

Now to get roms working!
Should i put the rom game plus LOADROM or EXECROM on a disk and start it in MSX-DOS or do you have to do it diffirent?

manuel: free disks are welcome! hehehe

Ok, with those good formated disks i can load roms with EXECROM too.
But only 16k roms max...
I need MegaRAM

LOADROM hangs after loading the game btw.

If you want to load megaroms then try megamu (Megarom emulator). This works fine and works with MSX2 if I remember it well.
If you want to load DSK files and you don't have a turboR just try to adapt the game before loading it with start.com and maybe it will work (adapt.com)

Of course, for rom images, getting the megaflash is the best choice IMHO. personales.mundivia.es/mpazos

Good luck.

50 euro for that flash rom, thats a ok price
The dsk are working fine now with good floppy disks
Finally i can play them on a MSX, i like that way better then on a emu on the pc

Yes, the MegaFlashSCC 512 KB is a good deal. And easier to get than a SCC+. But, of course, an SCC+ expanded to 128 KB rules! Only 1 MBit games, but easy to use, so Konami and SCC-I sound rules!

Man, the best tool to convert DSK images to disks or vice versa is "DSKPRO 3.0".
And it works in any MSX, and uses memory mapper in any slot, if available.
Take a look. Its the best!
