Hi everyone !

I was wondering if somebody has a NMS-1160 keyboard for sale to match with my NMS-1205 music module.

If you do have one, what's your price ?

Really nobody who's willing to sell ?

When you're living in Belgium or the Netherlands I am willing to come and pick it up so you don't have the trouble of sending it as a package.

Hope to hear from someone soon !

If I'm not mistaken, You can also use a yamaha keyboard with the musicmodule.
There is one for sale on ebay.nl , about 22 hours to go
btw, you can also convert a toshiba-keyboard, I did once, itīs not that difficult.

I don't know about the Yamaha vs. Toshiba keyboards, but I have -believe it or not- an actual Commodore keyboard which I can attach to my Music Module (Philips). I don't know about their availability on eBay, so try to find out

I know about the possibility of rewiring a Toshiba keyboard, HansO already told me about this, but then I can't use it anymore with the Toshiba module (have only one Toshiba keyboard).

Didn't know about the Yamaha/Commodore keyboards though.

Can anybody confirm that a Yamaha keyboard is usable with the Philips musicmodule ?

Is the connector also the same ?

The Commodore keyboard can be used as is as a NMS1160, iirc it needs a connector crimped on the flatcable (I have one, never checked actually

Thanks for the offer Manuel, I'll sure keep it in mind
However, HansO also pointed me at another difference between the Philips and the Toshiba keyboard.
The Philips has 36 white keys, and the Toshiba only 29.
Because of this difference you will be missing those 7 extra keys when you use a rewired Toshiba keyboard.
Just checked the yamaha keyboard on ebay link
This Yamaha keyboard also has 'just' 29 keys
Does the Commodore keyboard have the same amount of keys (36) as the Philips ?

Just found this commodore keyboard on Marktplaats.

I think the type is MX-10 (or MX-16 maybe ?) but I'm not sure, is hard to read.
Is this the commodore keyboard that can be used for MSX ?
Has also only 29 white keys if I'm not miscounted.

You're using spaces between the tags (use {img}picturename.jpg{/img} instead), but most importantly, linked to a file located on your computer. You can only show pictures that are hosted somewhere on the web @ here...

should do the trick

From here: http://www.hansotten.com/commodoremusic.html

There you see the Commodore keyboard that can be used on the Music Module too. This is the connector crimped on the flatcable:
